Whether playing acoustic or electric bass, Brian Bromberg is consistently brilliant.
His career has found him playing everything from straight ahead jazz (including with Stan Getz) to fusion, funk and pop.
A master of tapping the bass, Bromberg tends to be underrated due to his eclectic career, but only a few other bassists are on his technical level.
From 2019, Bromberg is featured on “Bass Face” with his band of the time which includes tenor-saxophonist Everette Harp, guitarist Ray Fuller, bassist Tom Zink, and drummer Tony Moore, augmented by a five-piece horn section.
