Late in his career, Baker was captured in this brief clip reciting the lyrics to “Deep In A Dream,” a swing era song that has music by Jimmy Van Heusen and lyrics from Eddie DeLange.
The tune was a standard in the 1940s but was somewhat obscure by the time Chet Baker gave it some of his verbal magic.
