Pennsylvania native Uri Caine began playing piano at seven years of age, started amassing formal jazz training by prepubesence and within a decade starting making the club circuit in Philadelphia.

Since this 2007 performance Caine got a Grammy nomination for a classical crossover album. He’s jammed with Ahmir Thompson and Christian McBride. Over the past decade he’s also been a composer-in-residence for the L.A. Chamber Orchestra.
