Enrique Morente (1942-2010) was an experimental and innovative flamenco singer.
Morente was considered controversial by longtime followers of flamenco because of his willingness to create new music, improvise, and perform with artists from other musical genres including rock groups.
On this clip, Enrique Morente is heard in a sparse setting with accompaniment by guitarist El Bola that puts the focus on his powerful and very expressive voice.
