This classic Swing Dance sequence featuring the legendary dance troop, “Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers” is an excerpt from the 1941 film “Hellzapoppin’.” Leading the band are piano and guitar man Slim Gaillard, and bassist Slam Stewart.

The couples dancing (in order of appearance) are as follows: William Downes and Micky Jones, Billy Ricker and Norma Miller, Al Minns and Willa Mae Ricker, Frankie Manning and Ann Johnson.
