The late ’50s proved to be a prosperous time for Jim Hall. He taught at the Lenox School of Jazz, toured with Jazz at the Philharmonic, and worked with Ben Webster and Bill Evans all in 1959 alone.

His activities during the early 60s included collaborations with Lee Konitz, Art Farmer, and Sonny Rollins.

Sonny Rollins and Jim Hall are featured performing on the TV show “Jazz Casual” in 1962.
