Misty

Sarah Vaughan sings a beautiful rendition of the jazz standard “Misty” at a 1964 concert in Sweden.

“Misty” was written 10 years earlier by the pianist Erroll Garner. Johnny Mathis’ hit recording of the tune solidified it as one of jazz’s most essential standards, later covered by Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and others.
