“Nardis” was crafted by jazz trumpeter Miles Davis specifically for Cannonball Adderley. In the Bill Evans repertoire, “Nardis” made its initial appearance as a studio release on the LP “Explorations” in February 1961. Over the subsequent two decades, Evans would include it on an additional eight studio albums.

This particular rendition was recorded on March 19, 1965.
