Taylor Eigsti, who was born in the fall of 1984, was originally considered a child prodigy, starting on piano when he was four and at 15 becoming a faculty member of the Stanford Jazz Workshop.
He has continued to grow in power and depth as a soloist through the years, had led eight albums by 2021 (including four as a teenager), and appeared on over 50 as a sideman, developing his own style along the way.
His original “Play With Me” features close interplay between the pianist, electric bassist Harish Raghavan, and drummer Eric Harland.
