The beauty of her voice and her ability to make a superior song sound fresh and new is very much in evidence on this version of Thelonious Monk’s “Reflections.”

Taken at a slow tempo (almost out of tempo), Reeves is quietly expressive while accompanied in sensitive fashion by pianist Peter Martin.
