Gary Crosby (1933-95), the son of Bing Crosby, was a decent singer who made some records in the mid-1950s before becoming an actor, usually in supporting roles on television and in movies.
In the mid-1950s, Crosby recorded a couple of songs with his father’s old friend Louis Armstrong including “Struttin’ With Some Barbecue” which was usually an instrumental.
In 1955, Crosby and Armstrong performed an extended version of “Struttin’” on the Ed Sullivan Show which includes some joking, mugging and Crosby imitating Armstrong’s voice in addition to Satch taking a couple of heated solos.
