It was not a natural disaster

In 2008, we wrote the script for this video and helped produce it.

We also used our promotional muscle to make sure it was in the Top 10 YouTube news videos during both the Republican and Democrat presidential conventions.

Why did we do this?

Because New Orleans and the people of New Orleans are important and not just because of the city’s historical role in jazz and its continued important role as a capital of culture.

The bottom line: The storm did not destroy New Orleans. Bad levee design and construction did.

Ten years later – TEN YEARS LATER – the New York Times has finally caught up with our version of events which happens to be the truth.
