In 1965, Neil Simon completed and put on one of the most successful plays of his career, The Odd Couple.
In 1968 it was a film starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, and during 1970-75 it became a very successful television series starring Tony Curtis and Jack Klugman.
Neal Hefti wrote the classic Odd Couple theme which was brought back by the superb European jazz orchestra, the WDR Big Band.
During this 2022 performance, the 17-piece orchestra is conducted by arranger Jorg Achim Keller and baritonist Jens Neufang is featured.
This rendition will make every listener smile.
