Washington-state native Ralph Towner – now a resident of Rome – is a musician notable for his being adept at many instruments, including the piano, synth, trumpet, and guitar – 12-string and classical. As eclectic as his talent with instruments is his comfort in different genres altogether – known for mixing avant-garde and free jazz with classical Indian music.
Towner has collaborated in the past with Oregon and Weather Report.
