Ever since she began to record in 2008, Cyrille Aimée has emerged as one of the top jazz singers on the scene.
While she can caress ballads, Aimée is also a skilled scat-singer who sounds both relaxed and heated on uptempo material.
From a well-filmed concert in 2023, she is joined by pianist Hila Kulik, bassist Lex Warshawky, and drummer Andreas Svendsen for a rapid rendition of “Undecided.”
Cyrille Aimée scats for the first five minutes, creating an exciting solo that builds up for chorus after chorus.
Each of the other excellent European musicians have their individual spots before the singer takes the song out to its logical climax.
