Tenor-saxophonist Scott Hamilton and cornetist Warren Vache both arrived on the major league jazz scene in the mid-1970s, helping to lead to the comeback of small group swing.

They both recorded for Concord and frequently played and recorded together, forming an exciting team until they went their separate ways after 1992.

In 2008 they had a rare reunion at a jazz festival in Europe.

Hamilton, who was leading a quartet also including pianist Olaf Polziehn, bassist Gioros Antoniou, and drummer Steve Brown, invited both Vache and trombonist John Allred to join his group.

They perform an unidentified uptempo tune that has heated and swinging solos from Hamilton, an exuberant Allred and Vache before the performance fades out.
