Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers perform “Whisper Not” at this 1958 concert.
The tune was composed by saxophonist and longtime Jazz Messenger Benny Golson. Golson wrote many of the group’s most famous songs from the era, including Moanin’ cuts “Along Came Betty” and “Blues March.”
