Blues On The Moon
Raful Neal
Raful’s Harp
Raful Neal’s 1969 instrumental single “Blues On The Moon” also appears on his 1987 album release “Louisiana Legend.”
In this cool Raful Neal harmonica instrumental the influence of Little Walter is definitely evident. Raful took up playing the harp as a fourteen year old boy on his Uncle’s tenant farm in Chamberlin, Louisiana. Inspired by the Little Walter, he was tutored by a local player named Ike Brown.
