Blues Power
Albert King
Live at the Fillmore
Albert King performs live with his Gibson Flying V guitar at the Fillmore East in New York on September 23, 1970.
Beginning in 1968, Albert King was playing not only to blues audiences, but also to crowds of young rock & rollers. He also played at the Fillmore West in San Francisco frequently and he even recorded one of his most definitive albums, “Live Wire/Blues Power,” at the hall in the Summer of 1968.
