Sam Myers plays blues harp at Liquid Recording Studios in Toronto, Canada.
Left legally blind at the age of seven after the onset of juvenile cataracts Sam Myers developed an interest in music while attending school in Mississippi. His abilities on the drums and trumpet earned him a non degree scholarship to attend the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. He would be the steady drummer with Elmore James’ band from 1952 until Elmore died in 1963.
