1965 American Folk Blues Festival

Alex “Rice” Miller aka Sonny Boy Williamson II (harmonica & vocals) performs in Europe accompanied by guitar and bass during the 1965 American Folk Blues Festival tour.

His time spent on tour in Europe in 1964 and ’65 was a highlight in Sonny Boy’s career. Once again he was the center of attention surrounded by droves of adoring fans and he ate it up. This enthusiasm coupled with the relaxed atmosphere coaxed forth some of his finest works.
