Maurice Dollison is best known for his 1966 R&B hit “When You Wake Up.” His 1963 debut single “Earth Worm” was issued under his own name, but Thomas Records would bill him as Cash McCall on subsequent releases. In the 1970s influenced by Willie Dixon, Maurice switched from soul and R&B to the blues.
