1967 American Folk Fest

legendary delta blues icon Son House plays his version of “Preaching the Blues” following a spoken introduction during a 1967 concert appearance.

The 1960’s concert circuit welcomed Son House. He played at the Newport Folk Festival in 1964 and traveled to Europe in 1967 with the American Folk Festival tour.
