Jackson’s Piedmont Blues

In rare footage from 1970, all-round folk blues entertainer John Jackson performs “That Will Never Happen No More.” The Piedmont blues musician’s music did not become his primary focus until he was accidental “discovered” by folklorist Chuck Perdue during the 1960s. He recorded extensively for Arhoolie, Rounder, and Alligator Records and visited Europe several times.
