That’s No Way To Get Along
Robert Wilkins
The Original Rolling Stone
This record was made for Brunswick on December 23, 1929 at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee by singer guitarist Robert Wilkins. Wilkins found religion in the 1930’s and became a minister giving up the blues in favor of gospel. Here footage of the 1965 civil rights march in Selma, Alabama is set to Robert Wilkins blues classic “That’s No Way To Get Along.”
