An explorative pianist originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Kris Davis had extensive classical training before deciding to become a jazz pianist in high school
Part of the New York jazz scene since 2001, she has led at least 23 albums of her own since 2003.
Always a very adventurous and open pianist, Kris Davis explores “Eronel” (a song best known for being recorded in 1951 by Thelonious Monk) in an abstract and colorful duet with drummer Billy Drummond.
