Joe Diorio’s remarkable career as an educator often overshadowed his own solo endeavors.

Here, the two guitar masters collaborate on Milt Jackson’s blues piece “Bags’ Groove.”

Despite their distinct styles, they find common ground not only in the blues but also in their aspiration to push boundaries and discover innovative approaches to interpreting a familiar song.
