Milt Jackson leads a septet performance of “Bags’ Groove” at the 1997 Jazz Baltica music festival in Salzau, Germany.

“Bags’ Groove” is best remembered as the title track of Miles Davis’ 1957 LP. The album was recorded in 1954 and featured three Sonny Rollins compositions that would later become jazz standards.
