During his formative years, a young Oscar Peterson received piano lessons from his sister, Daisy, who would later establish herself as a piano teacher. Under her guidance, Oscar initially delved into the realm of classical piano, yet it was his inherent dedication and commitment to honing his craft within the framework of classical music that ultimately paved the way for his exceptional abilities to flourish.
