Veronica Swift and Benny Benack III. are two of the top young jazz vocalists on the scene today.

While Ms. Swift also has interests in other styles of music, she is a particularly inventive scat singer who always swings.

In addition to being an enthusiastic and joyful singer, Benack is also a very good trumpeter.

On their version of “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm,” the two singers trade off, interact with each other, Benack has a spirited half-chorus trumpet solo, and there are brief spots for pianist Mathias Picard, bassist Joe Peri, and drummer Stanley Ruvinov.
