Erroll Garner was a unique pianist, one with his own orchestral style who was always melodic, swung, and made it all look effortless, rarely even looking at the keyboard when he played.
He was quite popular throughout his career despite never compromising the music he played; he just had a naturally joyful and accessible style.
From 1962, Garner is joined by bassist Eddie Calhoun and drummer Kelly Martin for swinging versions of a cooking “Where Or When” and a relatively laidback “My Silent Love.”
