During the past decade, Brandee Younger has emerged as jazz’s top harp player.
While inspired by Dorothy Ashby and Alice Coltrane, Ms. Younger has her own approach to playing jazz, in recent times performing duets with bassist Dezron Douglas.
From 2019, the duo is joined by Ravi Coltrane on soprano sax and drummer Allan Mednard for a piece that is both spiritual and a bit sensual, “Love’s Prayer.”
