Clarinetist Tim Laughlin and the late cornetist Connie Jones always made for a very appealing musical team at classic jazz festivals.

Along with trombonist Doug Finke, they are joined by an all-star rhythm section in 2014 consisting of pianist Chris Dawson, guitarist Katie Cavera, bassist Marty Eggers, and drummer Hal Smith.

The top-notch musicians perform a relaxed medium tempo version of the great stride pianist James P. Johnson’s “Old Fashioned Love.”
