L. A. Nightlife
In a short live performance clip shot in 1963 Lowell Fulson and his band provide a powerful rendition of “You’re Gonna Miss Me” for club patrons.
One of the most prominent figures of West coast blues during the 1950’s was Lowell Fulson. His big 1954 hit “Reconsider Baby” was produced during a fruitful period when he was under long-term contract with Chess Records subsidiary, Checker. In 1962 he left the label for the Los Angeles based Kent Records.
