At a jazz festival in 2017, four giants of the jazz piano take turns playing a blues.

Eric Reed states the melody of Thelonious Monk’s “Blue Monk” and, after his solo, he is followed by Benny Green, Kenny Barron and Cyrus Chestnut.

Green gets a second solo before Reed closes the performance.

Each of the pianists are in relaxed form and they show obvious respect for each other’s abilities during this friendly performance.
