Apparently, electronic signals also propagate into space so there may even be beings in other worlds digging this.

One of the things that struck me about this particular performance was what Basie did on the piano. He’s best known for his spare, Zen-like approach to the instrument, but in this clip he lets loose the full force of his stride chops.
