This was one of six tracks that the Bill Evans Trio did in September 1971 for the New Jersey Network, which only finally went off the air in 2011.
Bill Evans’ contribution to jazz piano is substantial. Over the course of his career he would collaborate with Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis and Paul Motian.
This rendition is far more up tempo than that on the original recording.
