RIP Al Belletto 1928-2014

Al Belletto, a well-esteemed saxophonist and clarinetist from New Orleans passed away at 80 years old on December 26, 2014.

He continued on to play with names such as Sharkey Bonano, Louis Prima and The Dukes of Dixieland.

Belleto was one of the earliest musicians to bring the bebop style to New Orleans, a city which tended to favor more traditional jazz.
