Blues diva Valerie Wellington effortlessly delivers fantastic vocals during a live performance.

Trained in opera at the American Conservatory of Music Valerie Wellington began singing blues in Chicago clubs in 1982. She would be chosen to portray both Ma Rainey and Bessie Smith in theatrical productions. Valerie’s style drew upon the work of classic blues singers melded with the modern Chicago sound.
