In 2006, the great pianist McCoy Tyner had a recording project in which he and his trio teamed up with a variety of different top guitarists.
Tyner, bassist Ron Carter and drummer Jack DeJohnette recorded an explosive version of “Mr. P.C.” with guitarist John Scofield.
Fortunately the recording session was filmed, allowing one to see the mutual respect of the musicians while they create a blazing performance.
