One of the most consistently creative trumpeters on the scene today, Christian Scott (also known as Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah) has been playing intriguing music and leading high-quality groups since at least 2005.

He performs “The Walk” in 2017 with a quintet that also includes Elena Pinderhughes on flute and Lawrence Fields on electric piano.

A feature for the trumpet who is in fiery form, “The Walk” also has a spot for Fields, a catchy rhythm, and some soothing flute in its closing ensembles.
