Mose Allison, a bluesy singer and a pianist with his own original swinging style, gained his greatest fame for his insightful, witty and offbeat compositions, writing both the words and the music.
No one sounded quite like Mose, who combined together jazz and country blues with his own wisdom.
Mose Allison is featured with his trio in the 1970s performing “Swingin’ Machine,” a song that he first recorded in 1962 and revived in the mid-1970s.
